My purpose is to create. I have a weird style, and I’ve learned to roll with it. I’m Sarell (suh-rell) and it’s a pleasure to meet you. I am truly captivated by the worlds of art and design. When it comes to many things in life, I tend to tread the water, but when it comes to my passions … I dive in head first.
I was really drawn to working with my hands. It was more about using my body as the tool and having a direct relationship with the material.

I may not be the next Picasso, or Ross Lovegrove, but I am and always will be an emerging contemporary artist. An artist is not defined by their level of skill or ability to recreate work from their predecessors, but an artist is someone with an idea and has a passion for creating.
My future as an artist is to become a furniture designer, and interior decorator. Of course, I would love to have my own studio space someday. The trends you see in my work may be weird, it may have a peculiar sense of beauty, but most importantly it is a reflection of me.
In all of my work, I think about the idea of cultivation, and think of the work as growing and developing into whatever it will become.

The true meaning of happiness is knowing that you set out to accomplish your biggest aspirations while staying true to yourself. You never know what opportunities can bloom from seeds you plant. Believe in your art, and believe in yourself. It was a pleasure meeting you, and I hope that you were able to learn a little bit about me.
